To add your loved one as a contact, please go to the website Family.TextBehind.com or use TextBehind App and log in. Then, select the "Contacts" tab.
For partnered facilities:
Please select "Search For A New Contact". Type in your loved one’s inmate ID and click search. Your loved one’s name will appear if it already exists in the system. When you click on the name, the prompt should provide you with their profile details prior to allowing you to add the contact.
For non-partnered facilities:
You may still try to search for your loved one using the “Search For A New Contact” option. If their name does not appear in search results, please go to the "Add Contact Yourself" page from the main menu. Fill in the information as requested on the page. You will need your loved one’s first and last name, inmate ID, and the Correctional Facility where he/she is located.
If you do not know the required information about your loved one, please go to the VineLink website (linked on the same page) to locate your loved one. Then return to the TextBehind website, or app to add your loved one as a contact.
